NOTE: This page about the compact is here for historical purposes. On 2021-05-13 Taerie sent the following email to the email list, to which there were no replies. I think we might take that as a proposal (see decision making) to which there were no objections.
Dear all,
I am writing to you on behalf of the “Dissolution the compact” council.
It is my pleasure to inform you all that the Ensemble Compact is no longer valid.
As the document was never functional, and the main reason it was drafted in the first place was adding new members, which we did by osmosis anyway -
and as it has been mentioned at a couple of meetings already and discussed over at discord, I have decided not to write to all current consignees to formally unsign the document. If anyone objects, please let me know, but also please don't, I want to keep the thing buried now.
If you have no idea what I am talking about, ignore this email altogether.
I have taken out some ideas and/or questions that arose while discussing the document, which I will bring to the “ikigai” council, to see if any of those are still worth discussing.
Much love to all of you,
Taerie

The Shakespeare Ensemble Compact
By typing my name below before 4pm GMT on Friday, 13th of November, 2020, I indicate my desire to be considered a member of The Shakespeare Ensemble.
I will participate in the Ensemble's decision making processes.
I agree that decisions will be made by consensus of the members until the Ensemble puts a different method in place (if we choose to do so).
My membership will be valid until I communicate to the Ensemble that I no longer desire to be considered a member.
Here are the names of the members of the Shakespeare Ensemble, in free association according to the terms above:
